Water Billing Insert

None of those customers experienced a water service disruption or were charged a penalty.

We apologize for the mistakes and thank the residents who brought the issues to our attention. We want to assure you that we are reviewing our processes and working with the financial institution that processes our payments to minimize errors and give you great customer service.

High Water Bills

We regularly hear from residents who are surprised by high water bills. Most often, these bills are due to leaking toilets, sinks, bathtubs, furnace humidifiers or hot water tanks. If you receive a high water bill, you may call our Utility Billing line to double check the amount of your bill; however, you may need to call a plumber to diagnose and repair leaks.

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service. We appreciate your patience and understanding when issues arise. You may rest assured we will always attempt to resolve issues as quickly as possible. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your water/sewer service, please contact the Utility Billing Department at 847-526-9604 or waterbilling@wauconda-il.gov.
Sincerely,
Jeff A. Sode, Mayor &
