CERT Training

The course that we provide serves as public education as well as the initial certification for our CERT volunteers.
This spring we will be conducting this class in a new format, as scheduled to begin March 30th. We will conduct an initial in person session to complete paperwork, explain Wauconda CERT, and outline the program. Then, the entire course will be delivered on-line (link below for your review). We anticipate streamlining the entire course with completion on May 1st. On that final class date, we will conduct an in person final exam and critical hands-on exercises.
As you see from the schedule below the plan is intended for you to each complete two units most weeks. I know that may be a bit aggressive, but if necessary, you can complete your on-line portions after that date. We will talk about that on March 30th.
For our first session plan on dressing comfortably, we will be in an open-air environment. Please plan on bringing your own water and face mask if possible (although we will have masks available). We will provide your manual, pens, paper etc... so, no need to bring anything else.
