Economic Development Commission
The Economic Development Commission is made up of Trustees, business leaders and staff. The Commission will advise the Village Board on issues important to local businesses, provide feedback on studies and plans referred to it by the Village Board, and review and make recommendations for policies or programs to incentivize future growth and investment in the Village's business environment. Four members of the nine-person commission shall be persons employed within the Village or persons whose business, occupational or professional activities are substantially within the Village. One additional member shall represent the Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Economic Development Commission is a volunteer, advisory board that will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. Members are appointed by the Mayor for a three-year term with approval by the Village Board.Meetings
