Restaurant Assistance Grant Program

At the December 15th Regular Village Board meeting, the Mayor and Board of Trustees approved a new Restaurant Assistance Grant Program to help local restaurants and bars 626954150_Busboyimpacted by the State’s COVID-19 Tier 3 mitigations. 

To be eligible for a Grant, businesses must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a restaurant / bar with indoor dining facilities and be located within the corporate limits of the Village of Wauconda
  • Must have been impacted by COVID-19 mitigations
  • Must be current on local taxes (as of November 1, 2020)
  • Must have all applicable State and Local licenses
  • Franchised national or regional establishments are not eligible for Grant Program
  • Business must remain open and operating in conformance with current State and Local health department regulations
  • Must have paid local sales tax for 2019 tax year (tax return or audited financial statement required for verification)
Applications will be accepted through 4:30 PM on December 23, 2020.
