Brush Pick-Up & Leaf Collection

**Storm Debris Collection - February 27th, 2023**

Due to the recent storm, there will be a special storm debris collection starting on Monday, February 27th. All brush should be stacked in the same direction and placed at the curb by 7:00 AM. Once the crews have made a pass, they will not return. This collection is strictly for storm related debris (no yard maintenance or beautification pruning will be accepted). Please have patience as it may take some time to get through the entire Village.

Collection Guidelines:

  • Twigs and branches must be no larger than 4 inches in diameter.
  • All brush must be stacked in the same direction when placed curbside.
  • Brush should not be bagged, bundled or tied.
  • Brush left by a contractor (hired by HOA, etc.) to do tree trimming in a subdivision/area will not be picked up.

Many residents are still without power. ComEd is aware of this and is working to get everyone up and running.
The Spring Brush Collection is scheduled to begin on May 15th.
Please contact Wauconda Public Works with any questions (847) 526-9610.
