Brush Pick-Up & Leaf Collection
The Village will coordinate 2 Village-wide residential brush collection events.
Please note: Fall Brush Pick-Up will be performed for all residents in the corporate limits of the Village starting Monday, October 19th.
General Brush Pick-Up Guidelines
- Twigs and branches must be no larger than 4 inches in diameter.
- All brush must be stacked in the same direction when placed curbside.
- Brush should not be bagged, bundled or tied.
- Brush left by a contractor (hired by HOA, etc.) to do tree trimming in a subdivision/area will not be picked up.
Village of Wauconda residents that would like to participate in the Brush Pick up Program should have brush placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19th. The contractor will pick-up brush throughout the corporate limits of the Village of Wauconda, however once they have completed the pick-up on your street, they will not return.
Leaf CollectionLeaf vacuuming will begin the week of October 12th and continue through the week of December 11th. Residents are asked to rake the leaves within three feet of the curb by Monday morning, for pick up by Prairieland Disposal each week. Leaves should not be bagged and should not be placed in the gutter or street.
