DocumentValuesIn partnership with the Wauconda community, the Wauconda Police Department offers investigative, preventative, and community policing designed to protect and serve Wauconda area residents and visitors. Each officer pledges to fairly and competently enforce the laws with integrity and professionalism at all times. 

PersonnelThe Wauconda Police Department provides public safety services to the Wauconda community 24 hours a day. The Police Department is divided into three divisions - Patrol, Investigations, and Administration.  The Wauconda  Police Department has several specialty positions filled by sworn officers and detectives. Those positions include: School Resource Officer, Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG), Lake County Gang Task Force, Lake County Major Crimes Unit, Lake County Major Crash Team, bicycle officer, and a Public Information Officer. In addition, the Administrative division includes the Chief, Deputy Chief, Community Services Officers, and various other Support Services positions.
