Services

The Public Works Department is divided into four major areas of responsibility: Water, Sewer, Street & Forestry and Wastewater Treatment. Each division provides an essential service to the community.

As one of the largest departments in the Village, Public Works is responsible for all management, operation, maintenance and repair of Village infrastructure, facilities and equipment. This includes street maintenance, sidewalks, parkway trees, signs, sanitary and storm sewer systems, water distribution, fire hydrants and wastewater treatment.

The department also provides emergency response services such as ice control (salting), snow removal and flood assistance.

The Public Works Department strives to provide high quality, reliable service and is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the entire community.
